Second stay at this campground this year. More of the long term residents have left so there are a few more campsites open. A few of the sites are tight but can be accessed with a little help from the neighbors. Campground owners are on site and are friendly, approachable and have a positive, helpful attitude. The campground is very clean and well maintained. Cable is not yet to all the sites but you can see progress. A few (10) sites are water and electric only and are easy to get into. Wi-Fi is still only available at the office with chairs and tables provided for its use. There is a "swimming hole" in the river on the property.

What a great place. Read some of the early reviews and was a little apprehensive but what a great find. This park is clean, quiet and easy to get around in. The road to the park, (Hwy. 198 and North Fork Drive) are easy to navigate. The owner is on site. He and the staff are friendly, helpful and pleasant to deal with. The sites are mostly level with gravel parking and a concrete pad with new picnic tables. Plenty of shade in most all sites. The waterfront sites are no more than 30' from the edge of the river with nothing to impede access. Pet friendly. Our new favorite place to go in the spring and fall.

Spent one night passing through. The lady I spoke with by telephone when I called to ask about space was very nice and helpful The young lady at the desk at check-in gets a 10 for friendliness and helpfulness. This park is a very easy on/off I-5 and very good if you are staying for an overnight breather. They advertise cable TV and although the sites have cable hook-up, the other end of the cable has not yet reached the park. The Wi-Fi signal was unusable(20%)in site 108. The long term section is at the north end and not mixed with the short term tenants. Overall the park is clean and neat, easy to navigate with very wide roads.

You read that right, only 2 sites and both are back in. No modem, WiFi, cable, restrooms or showers. WiFi and a computer kiosk are available at the visitor center and at the main office. The two sites are next to each other. Nearest people are over 1000 feet away at the guest cabins and they're not always occupied. If you are looking for quiet, wilderness camping with the luxury of good clean electrical, water and sewer, this is it. I believe the sites are new this year. Pads are level. Only downside was the layout. Site 2 had no picnic table and the table at site 1 was on the wrong side. Neither site had the room to move the table to the proper side of the pad to be useful to the trailer door. The layout seemed to work well for the slide in camper in site 1. Make it a worthwhile trip and volunteer at the Best Friends organization for a day or two.

Very clean and well laid out park. Roads are paved or gravel and well maintained. Walking distance to old town and some attractions. Staff was helpful and friendly on the phone when I made reservations. The WiFi did come and go for no discernable reason. We will definitely stay there again and highly recommend this campground.
